My name is Don Ketchek and I have been drawing and painting all my life. Currently, I am a guide in the pastel forum on the popular website, wetcanvas.com. As is typical (I think) of life-long artists, I have experience in most mediums and most subject matters. Over the years I have tried watercolors, pen and ink, pencils, acrylics, oils, and pastels, which are my favorites! Hopefully, I will get a chance to display and discuss all of these mediums.
Although, for all practical purposes, all artist's are self-taught, I did attend art school and have a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Believe me, that seems like a long time ago! (And it was!)
